"Scissor lift" covers several very different machines. Here is how they differ.
Scissor lift table trolley
A mobile work table with a foot-pump — around 500 kg capacity. Used for ergonomic loading, assembly and machine feeding. Not for lifting people.
Floor / pit mounted scissor lift
Stationary hydraulic lift for goods, 0.5 to 15 ton. Bridges floors and docks; pit-mounted for flush loading. Custom platform sizes and safety guards.
Semi-electric scissor lift
A push-around aerial work platform: electric lift, manual positioning. Working heights up to about 12 m. Economical for maintenance teams.
Self-propelled scissor lift
Drive and steer from the platform, working heights up to 14 m, 300 kg capacity, extendable deck. The productive choice for large sites, warehouses and fit-outs.
Vertical mast lift
A compact single-person lift that fits through doors and into passenger lifts — perfect for stock picking and indoor maintenance.
Safety features to insist on
Overload valve, tilt / level sensor, guard rails with gate, emergency stop and emergency lowering, pothole protection on self-propelled units.
